Dr. Puterman is Research Director of the CHCM and Professor of Operations at the Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia. His areas of expertise include using OR to model, plan and manage health care systems, and biostatistics. He is regarded as a world leader in MDP theory and application and has developed and taught a novel course in forecasting. He is a senior researcher who has collaborated widely with health care researchers and professionals and who will provide the team with leadership and insight in OR methods, biostatistics and applications.
